Post Graduate Diploma in Child Health

Duration 2 years/Semester System
Eligibility

A candidate is considered eligible for applying for PG Diploma in PG diploma in child health if he/she has the following:

  • Has an MBBS degree from a recognized university.
  • Qualifies the entrance examination which is either conducted or accepted by the particular college/university.
  • If the admission is merit-based, then obtain a minimum aggregate percentage which differs according to the college’s admission criteria.
Admission Process

Most colleges give admissions to PG diploma in child health based on a Nationwide entrance exam such as NEET PG, or an entrance exam conducted by the University. Additionally, some colleges may conduct a personal interview or a round of counselling to filter the candidates further. Students are given admission based on the rank list prepared by the college which is in turn based on the candidate's performance in the entrance test and the personal interview if any.

Admission process differ according to different college’s admission policy but the basic steps to apply are given below:

  • Candidates should download the online registration form from the university website or collect physically from the college.
  • Candidates should next fill in the necessary details in the application.
  • The candidate should attach all the needed documents.
  • Submit the registration form and pay the application or registration fee. 
  • Wait for the official notification regarding the interview process or examination (if any).
  • Wait for the rank list prepared by the college. The rank list is prepared based on the performance of the candidate in the entrance exam and the interview/ group discussion if any.
